    mark d 93octane chip
    ie wires..

    148.3 rwhp
    138.0 rwtq
Prime example of how little throwing stupid bolt ons at a m20 does in the real world.

How many miles are on the engine, recent compression numbers? Curious to see state of engine vs. numbers.

155-155-153-150-157-155 using a actron meter. And afm is mistuned or damaged, i belive i will swap it out for another m30. Miles on motor is definatly over 200k odo was broken @ 100k when i got the car 2 years ago.

Well that compression is on the slightly low side, but its all very close to one another. Its more important they be very close, but slightly low, then most very high, and a couple low.

Sounds like a healthy motor for its miles.

He doesnt have that much done to the car boys, I dont see what your freaking out over his low numbers for. An m30 afm, big whoop. Even at best that gives a couple hp. IE wires, oh man thats like maybe 1 hp if that. S50 injectors arent going to give you that much of a gain, maybe a couple hp. Mark D chip doesnt max the hp that much either. I think hes doing fine for a 200k motor. Hes putting what, close to 180 at the crank? Not bad for those mods in the real world on a high milage motor.

165-175 is ideal for a mid life well kept m20.

You'll make more power tuned with a slightly rich mixture, like 12.5-13:1, but you won't pass emissions because the cat will be ineffective. Not sure what the deal is down there in Florida.

I agree Fife, when you figure the friction losses from the trans/diff, those are'nt bad numbers, considering the mileage. My friend bought a 89 325i this last summer, and his CR numbers were in the 155-158 range, apparently the upper end for numbers according to the dealer that tested it. It had 89000 km on it.
Whats the Bentely say? I know it has the numbers in it.
