EV West BMW e36 M3 Rally Car (Pikes Peak)

Check these videos out. This is the EV West BMW e36 M3 fully electric rally car that ran up Pikes Peak. This is video from the Oceanside Motorsports BBQ for SDBMWCCA.

    In Car Footage:

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Bill Caswell was speaking at this event for SDBMWCCA. The car featured in the videos is a fully modified E36 M3. It has an Electric Motor which can output over 400hp. They limit the motor for street driving but it can be tuned easily for the track. It's a really cool car. The company who did the mods is EV West. Check the link below for more info. This is the same car that Bill Caswell drove. The car also was driven during the last Pike's Peak event. Thanks to Neil for the awesome driving!

The car did go up pikes peak and placed well, so there is some method to the madness. Lol

Just fyi for those who were wondering the car has a fully built custom suspension and is reinforced for rallying.
