Statistically, driving on the left side of the road is stupid... Instinctively, right handed people (who make up most of the population) will pull to the right when something sudden happens. So, in RHD countries, they would be pulling into oncoming traffic whereas in LHD countries they would be pulling off the road, away from oncoming vehicles.
