It might have something to do with the viscosity so it does not just sink to the bottom of the fuel tank. I'm upgrading the lines now that they are shot but i'll probably stick to 91 now that i'm 8.5:1

what your saying does not have anything to do with methnal injection as you do not add meth to your gas tank, especially with the mix being 50%h20.
Methanol inj. is either computor controlled or run off a boost switch to inject at a certain psi. It gets its own tank and pump so no worries about fuel line corrosion or anything like. You run into fuel line issues when you run ethanol,not methanol.

Is he getting methanol confused with ethanol? I know that without the proper lines ethanol will eat your lines......i.e. e85 fuel.
