I went. It wasn't the best thing that's ever happened to me, but it was fun.

If you're ONLY and E30 fan, there might be other events that suit you better. But if you're a fan of all BMWs, this was the event to go to. When's the last time you talked to a 2002 Turbo owner about his car and how it has dramatic turbo lag?

Great cars. Even better coverage...LOTS of good pictures from an event like this are nice.

The '02s definitely have some following at this event.

I would of brought another e30 m3 out there, but shit just didn't work out...

Great pics BTW, looks like lots of fun!

Anyway, the event is great. You just don't know until you go. I agree that a lot of the cars there seem to be in a "Who spent more on mods" competition, but oh well, so be it. I just walk on to the next car. I have spent most of my time at the last 3 Bimmerfests right around the e21's and e30's. I've looked at the other cars, but most of them are just eye candy and not driven much anyway.

There was no e21 love in these pics, but there was a decent turnout. I had issues and was not able to get mine up there, the turbo manifold wouldn't go on. :( Of the ones there, only 2 were still running M10's that weren't heavily modded. The rest were either on some major NA tunning (170+hp out of 2.2L or less), turbo'd, or were M20 powered (from the factory). There will be shots of them around on the net, if you are interested.

And thanks SOOOO much Evan from Josie and I for the pics of her M Roadster. They came out great! Sorry I was so out of it last night and sorta grumpy. I didn't have a car there so it was a bit harder for me to get all excited about the event and was sorta bummed we couldn't rage at the hotel (damn No Party rules! ).
SOMEBODY messed with my sig so now you get this one:

Yeah sorry for the lack of E21 pics, I just sorta forgot.

Anyways no problem with regards to the pics, although I wish I could have gotten more, send me a PM or something next time you attend a meet so i can get more pics.

That GT3 would be cooler with red wheels, but it can't be a perfect world.

We all know the Ti is the only E36 worth buying.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

I was talking to the owner, he said he was going to throw on a set of wheels with carbon fiber "rims" but they didn't finish in time

The turbo 02's took the cake tho!

Some sweet bimmers for sure. I wish I could go to that. Isn't there a bimmerfest in Michigan or something?

I don't like modified BMW's so much anymore. I just like factory Mtech sport packages or other BMW specific sport accessories and some BBS wheels. Going too far with the lighting or bodykits or just changing everything upside down and inside out does not appeal to me at all. I wish The Fast and the Furious had never been made.
