On glass would be even easier! you could just print out a line drawing lay some glass down and trace over it with tape. just need some 1-3mm tape and you're away. Tapes pretty fun to draw with, you can fuck it up as many times as you like and just change your mind. Problem is the tape wont stay stuck down for ever. Particularly where you bend/curve it. It tends to want to correct itself back into a straight line. I've been wanting to do a full size e30 on my wall in the apartment just haven't got round to it..
