E36 climate control install on E30

New on here. Im late to the site as you guys can see. Im restoring my 1991 E30 Convertible. I wonder if anyone has ever retrofiitted an E36 climate control into an E30 ?

Im sure it can be done but why? The e30 climate control can do everything the e36 can do except for dual climate.
