Just the start of my E30 turbo conversion

Hello from Malaysia!
We have started a turbo conversion on my old E30. Just wanted to share some pics.
Still a lot to do so it's looking quite rough at the moment

This is before any work has been done.

Eventually all the pipes will be ceramic coated black and the hoses will change for black. I'm just waiting till it's all done. We can't get the hose here in black so I need to order it specially from overseas

No it was done at the shop. I have done the built not bought thing. Now I'm doing it bought not built. Haha. There isn't a lot of option here for turbo manifold so I just had the shop do one for me

Looks like they copied the eBay one but made it from SS?

No he didn't copy anything he came up with it himself. If it looks like another manifold it's probably because there isn't that many ways to do it. You can see here his in progress:



He originally tacked together one that was equal length but then it was too much clearance issues.

Great build, there is definitely no manifold like that. Look how long the runners are and where the turbo is placed.
