I thought of this just when I closed Photoshop and decided to actually do some work. Valve covers are just cool. It could probably be made to look more like a valve cover, but you get the idea.Leave a comment:

Because I'm a sick man and this thread needs a lil more humor

+1 I've seen that somewhere else before too, just can't put a finger on it?
No worries though, It was worth a go I guess?Leave a comment:

Hmmm. I actually went around and looked at logos at other BMW suppliers to make sure I didn't have logos similar. I didn't see anything like the one I made. But I don't know every website, so it's possible.
I still like the first one I made anyway. :)Leave a comment:

More worried about it being used here for a corporate logo though.I'm no lawyer, but some stylised highway sign from another country shouldn't be a big deal. Here in the states there's a billion "Interstate Diner" signs on the highway with a I-5 sign, or how about every rockabilly burger shop with a route 66 sign.
I think that stuff is public domain, as long as it isn't represented as a real road sign.
Again, not a lawyer, but took enough business law in college to know that if something is acceptable to a "reasonable person", its 70% of the way to being legal.
Hope you see what I'm saying?Leave a comment:

Registered Logo, same as the Roundel, you might run into legal or
copyright infringment problems. Had the same thing happen to me
before on a company project. Legal Action Suxxx.
Not sayin don't use it, just watch ur *** if you do. Don't wanna
see you get in trouble. Autobahn Wheels owns the logo here in
the USA and GmbH owns it in DE.Leave a comment:

This is my least favorite one so far, but my own opinion usually very harsh.
