Blown e30 V8 drag car video

I really don't know if it's a supercharged V8 but I can't imagine what else it would be. Probably a 351 or something.

I just realized, wheelie bars are an excellent way to accent the metal rear bumpers on early 84-87 cars.

OMG, I want to have one like that now!!! I remember seeing a red e30 with a blower stickin through the hood on PINKS but it was in the background. I think i seen it on one of the early PINKS shows. I wonder if it was this car? Can't be many around. My uncle seen one that was mini tubed in Mt. Airy, MD. And i often thought of building one.

I've seen this car in one of my Hot Rod magazines a couple years ago. Then, it was running a blown big block Chevy with 3 carbs, and was the most street legal car there in the Pro Street class, it was supposedly driven there to the outlaw race in Orlando. Wheels up. One of my favorite powerplants in one of my favorite cars.

I forget what the turbo s38 M3 does, I believe 9's. But that looks like a street car. I think with suspension/tires like this red one, it could hit 8's. I don't think there is many other e30's below 10's.

If this red one put down some more power, it could be faster. He hooks up obviously, so more HP would do the trick, unlike most drag e30's that simply can't hook up, because they don't have 20" wide slicks.
