Way to 'til' the soil man. Looks like you dug in quite well. Thankfully the shiney side stayed up.

Reminds me of when I "drifted" off of the exit ramp in the rain and wiped out in the grassy area in the middle of the cloverleaf.

too much angle? too much speed?

Is the car okay? did you manage to keep drifting for the rest of the day?

                Haha the car is fine.

We had a friendly competition among 15 cars that same day and I got 4th place overall. But a cookie for Stu because he called it, I got so much crap in the wheel that I popped the bead off. I had to use my Azevs in the front for the remainder of the day, sliding on Ziex's (which I'm not a fan of Falken ehhh)

But yeah.... e30s are tanks. Don't have anyone ever try to convince you otherwise.

What happened was pure driver's error. We were running that course layout backwards the entire last event. And it didnt occur to me at the beginning of the day that it was a decreasing radius turn I was dealing with there. Now running it on this direction, it was an increasing radius.

What that means is that on decreasing radius, the turn is wider at first so you can do in faster and shave off speed by left foot braking (or just lifting the gas but you lose boost). When you are doing it backwards (how the video shows), you have to now go in slower and bring the speed up as the turn widens out.

Well, I treated the turn the exact same way as a decreasing radius. So I flew into the turn, and when I realized the car wasnt following the turn, I tried to turn in to get the car to rotate more, but at that point, I was just TOO fast and I four wheel slid right off the track.

I'm very glad I didnt flip over and I was able to keep drifting.

? Those are paper-wrist bands that the drivers use to get on the track. :p
