Thats what i had in mind, just the grill tho witout the kidneys and ducts, looks good. Anyone up for doing the shadowline trim in red now.

Black out the kidneys.

Hmmmm, that actually looks kind of cool. I've always loved that about GTi grilles, little touches like that are what really stand out to me.

you guys suck ass. I was actually going to do this come spring. This with black 17 steelies with a red lip, and smoked ellips. Car would be all black and red. no amber.

i wanted to buy an early e30 some years ago. this car had those grilles but i'm not sure if this was original. it was a special mtechnik edition i remember. maybe i can get some more information or if i see the car again i will get some pics. the car was still running last year.
