Im kind of digging this concept. not the red window trim, but a red outline arround the grill could be pulled off.

I dont think it would look good on an early car, but it works nicely on the late models (or maybe an early model with plastic bumpers).

Now I'm going to go out and look for a good late model schwarz shell to build. I think that might actually work for me, looks interesting.

im not disagreeing that the car looked good when it was all shiny due to the fact that it was wet, but that paint didnt stick, and when it started to chip off we decided the rat-rod treatment suited it. besides, why are you all of a sudden such a hater?

p.s. justin's buying it from me because after the heater-core blew a couple weeks after i bought it from you, the wiring went to shit, and i declared it a total loss. maybe you oughtta be talking to him.

Not hating. just sad i guess. if anything i can get the car from him after a while. i put alot of work into that and wished i had never painted it cause bronzit with the 16X8s and eurobumpers would of looked awesome. but it ate gas and wasnt an e30 so i didnt need it any longer.

even before it was painted the paint was in bad shape, the prep then was bad.

not insuating anything, i want to be clear about that

i was just saying that after it blew it fried the OBC, the blower motor, and a few different relays. it also seems to have toasted the circuit board that controls the guages.

but it was still way faster than it should have been. thus the rat-rod theme. i really don't get why everyone thinks it looks so shitty. i think it's pretty badass, and i'm sad i can't drive it anymore too.
