e30 vents are gay. Moreover they are pointless. My blank plates weigh like 1oz each. The vents and all the ducting I removed weighed at least 3 lbs.

I have no AC, and I DO NOT like heat blowing in my face. They are extra weight.

The vents were extra UNUSED weight. I use the seats. Besides, e30 vents are ghey, and a PITA to keep clean.

I don't see what is so hard to understand here.

It does on one side, but the other side sits way above the fender line. It's really not that noticeable.

if you ever have a BUNCH of free time on your hands, I think the blanks would actually look nice if they were curved to match with the actual dash.

I bet you half the people that say it looks bad/awkward will agree with me that it would look nicer if it 'blended' in a little more...

but oh noes, you couldn't possibly spare another 3oz just to make something look a little nicer, right? ;)

Why would I do that? The blank panels are only temporary...

The center will house 3-4 gauges, the passenger side likely nothing, and the driver side a remote located V1.
