i was doing this for a while until the university where my mom's a prof at got XP professional and i just told her to snag me a disk and serial, but hey you've gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Well if you own a mac like me things are easy go to thepiratebay (great site) once you get what you want search the net for serials or have someone who has it already share thiers (they work on multiple computers.)

(the gimp works fine for me... someone was complaining about it a page back, I'm assuming they didn't know what they were doing)

I'm not a thief but I still have a lot of programs because there is always an open source alternative available for free.

P.S.
Most open source stuff sucks and isn't as good as the real thing. But it's legal and free.
