That's awesome - how's the traction in it? One of the locals has an E39 M5 and all I ever see him doing is breaking traction and going ass out through every turn he takes (although this is likely due solely to his driving style :D)

Overall of the day out of 40+ cars. Though, we only had ONE E30 show up. The fastest over all was a caged up, fully built basically E36 M3 on slicks and I was only .7 behind him and .1 behind the second place.
I'm going to end up picking up an E30 for AutoX hopefully in the next couple of months because you guys are right, this car is TOO big for AutoX but I'm able to power this beast through those tight corners pretty well.
Only mods are Dinan S1 suspension, Dunlop Direzza's Z1 275 on all corners and Dinan rear swaybar
One of the local guys here is just retarded fast in his M5. Only mod are 275's all the way around. He took FTD in the wet, even compared to national champion autocrossers, or at least he did until the second heat of the day where our class were working and the rain stopped. He's just stupid fast in that thing.
2017 Chevrolet SS, 6MT

For such a big car, they really are amazing. I should take my dad's E34 M5 to see how it does...
Well, since the E34 is about the same size as an E46 3 series, although heavier, it should do pretty well.
I think this is a testimonial to BMW's genius in suspension design. I had a E32 7 series for my first BMW, and it was a great car. It was way bigger than any of my previous cars, but it handled and drove so much better. I have driven E34's too and they are sweet as well. BMW just does a great job overall. I don't think anybody can really touch them yet. Of course, the driver is critical too :D
