What year was that? Haven't actually been able to make it to Sno*drift myself, but I have been to LSPR the last 4 years now.

what do you guys run for tires?

im running snows for now but i'd like to fit a more agressive tread on the car in the future
I'm running Gislaved Nord Frosts (aka General Altimax Arctics in the US).

I'd rather have some rally tires, but I blew my tire budget for this car on some Star Specs for the euroweaves, so I could autocross it too :)

The only car that made it clean there was the 0 car, and he was on studs.
I only counted 5 drivers that did a decent job taking that corner, and most of them used the snow bank as a brake.
I'd love to drive the 0 car for rally. cheater studs FTW!

Here is our TVR Thanksgiving RallyX run. There were two E30 325e's that day. My car is in 2:53 Car 54.

mine is starting off as a rallyX car, but in the next few years I'd like to build it up enough to do some NASA rally. But it's an e30, and it will be getting dirty come march....

I also put star specs on the street wheels, and will likely do some trackday in it as well. Though it is really slow, and has really tall suspension....

build thread here for anyone who cares: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=224191

no action shots for now, just the current driveway picture...

Edit: Check out this video, E30 at about 2:00. Almost taps someone else sliding into a corner.

Great video Ferd, and nice way to match one of my favorite tunes with one of my favorite pastimes.

    Nice work!
