    4-door roll bar?

im looking for a weld or bolt in 4-point roll bar for track events next year, all the bars i've seen have been 2-door specific. anyone konw of any 4door bars? also, what will be the problem if i fit in a 2 door bar into my 4door? i know the b pillars are further up in the 4 door, but the bar should fit right? and i know a lot of e36 guys use 2 door bars in their 4 doors. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Don't you work at a "race" shop? I'd think any place like that would be able to fab a 4 pt for you.

I am looking for a rollbar for my 325i too. The B-pillar doesn't seem to matter.
The rollbar main hoop feet are bolted/welded to the floor pan near the
rear seat, where there is a step in the floor pan. The main concern seems
to be the rear stays. The roof angle are supposedly slightly different between
the 2 and 4-doors. I couldn't find any conclusive proof of this. Nobody was
really sure of the rollbars designed for the 2-door E30s will fit the 4-door E30s.
The typical answer seems to be to go for a custom rollbar.

the roof on 4 and 2 doors is exactly the same, there is no difference in angles.

If there are no differences in roof, then, the 2-door rollbar should fit the 4-door car too.
(I haven't heard of any differences in the floor plan or wheel well). So. who is gonna try and let us know :D

after a lot of research at HMS and VSR and a few smart people, this is the deal, the 2 door bar will work IF you can get it in the car. also the main hoop will be very visable through the rear door windows becuase of the pillar furher forward, so, if you can get it in, it will fit, i will try it and let you guys know when I find out.

it will require removal of both front seats, center console, rear seats, possibly steering wheel, rear arm-rests
