    I'm sure it's more than 5lbs.

I'll crack the scales out and measure I've got all the glass from my race car kicking about at home. I'll also weigh the lexan once it arrives in the next few weeks.

you guys are funny. two-door glass is like 5lbs. i was carring them around tonight. rear quarters are like 3 lbs and a windshield is no more than 12 lbs

you really dont lose a lot of weight with lexan.

But to give you an idea about how to manage setting the window to different heights is you can create a slot that a screw knob slides through. The knob is attached somehow to the window itself or linkage if you can figure out how and when you have it to the height you want, tighten down the knob.

Manual window regulators, but keep the crank handle detached so you can take it outta the car easily for more LTW (2 ounce savings). I just happen to have a set for sale that is perfect for this idea! ;)

i've noticed.. too much fiddling with the car can be bad too and costs you seat time when stuff breaks. now if you were racing for $$ i'd say go for it but unless your a pro driver, seat time, seat time, seat time.. ad infinitum.

Seriously... and they have some of the weirdest car classifications I've ever seen. I thought EMRA was bad...

Agreed. This can actually become a safety issue if done incorrectly. I'd hate to see your pins fail and your window come flying out during an impact. Just what other drivers and corner workers need, a 20 lb sheet of glass flying through the air at 100mph.

Stick a little rollcage bar far enough into the doorpanel to delete the whole shebang. Those COMSCC rules are looser than a whore's vagina after a meth trip through Harlem.
