    14" Wheels????

    Anyone race witgh their 14" bottlecaps??
    I got 2 sets and dont really have $$ to spend on 15" wheels for know so i thought about using them for the track...
    Any pros / cons????

    What tires should i get in 14"?

    do you have any basketweaves (stock on is)? The extra .5" of width will help.

      The Toyo RA1 and R888 both come in 205/55/14. They're a spec e30 legal size, so some people rock em for racing. You'll get more sidewall flex than with a 15" wheel, so generally you need a coupla more PSI or you'll have to deal with the tire rolling over.

        I use 14" basketweaves with 225 RA1s, they work fine, just have to run spacers to clear the front struts.
        1990 S50 goodness.

          we ran 225 RA1's as well with a spacer in front and they worked fine.
