Did you buy it from someone who was mentally retarded?

          LOL.

          No you didn't.

Was the engine shot? The transmission?

Something was wrong with it for you to get it for $500.

Just a hint: When something is wrong with a car, it's not in "mint" condition.

The 2nd Big Fish team? I didn't know there was a 1st Big Fish team?

Our team certainly wasn't racing under their flag, though we are indebted to Neil for all the work he did to help us get that shitbox running over and over again!

However, if J decides to do an official Big Fish car, that'll be awesome!

let me correct myself, what I should have said was maybe there will be a 2nd car being worked on by another Big Fish member.

Great videos. we ahve run a e30 2 times at the CMP event. getting the car set for the one next month.

So do you know what happened to the 1st engine? BTW we brought a complete spare car for the 1st race and ended up on needing a hose or 2. So we decided the 2nd time to just bring up parts. No engine since we have had ours apart about 3 times and feel is fairly solid.

You guys went through alot to be able to race. it get easier for the 2nd and 3rd race, since you get a residual value on the car. Hence a new budget to fix things. Also if you have a 6 months of junkyard shopping between each race you can find good parts. We were able to find a oil cooler and a front set of Bielsteins between the 1st and 2nd race.

Sorry to hear about the loss of the Mac equipment. We run about 13 servers here at the house, I ended up putting in a monitored alarm system after i installed the rack.

Good job to you guys for getting the car back on track.

Once we got the chipped computer back on the car, our lowly eta car was giving your i-swapped car a run for its money! Although your fastest lap kicked our ass.

Yeah, we just figured out last night that I was driving that fastest lap.

                        I had no idea.

The folks on YouTube seem to be wrapped around the idea that there is was a yellow flag that was missed and you guys were therefore culpable. Like someone stopping on yellow flag on the track is normal behavior. Sheeze.

Maybe it was a guy who "bought" his license and had not the first clue as to what to do when he saw a yellow flag. Which, of course would be 1) Don't pass, and 2) Keep a sharp eye out for a problem up ahead. Not 3) Some nitwit might panic and come to a stop in front of you.
