Getting close to the start of the season- what do you have left to do?

I am still WAAAAAY off from having my E30 ready for the season, thanks to a record snow total this winter and the fact that the E30 was outside for all of it. (Parking my daily outside and having it covered with snow/frost every morning did not seem like the best idea.)

So what does everyone else have to do to be ready for this season?

Put trans and clutch in swap car, fix/figure out fan wiring and install SPAL fan that I don't have yet
Pull and replace trans in rasta car and fix a few things

Break in clutch in swap car in time for 3/28 autocross

    Ugh
    paint sucks

I'm actually ahead of schedule for once; just need to make a splitter, make a new exhaust, rebuild my gas pedal since the bottom hinge is rotted out and finish wiring some gauges.

Feels nice to know that I won't have to bust my ass in the week leading up to the first event.

Finish up my s52 swap

I am going to miss the first auto-x of the season next saturday, but I have registered for the DE at motorsports ranch in April so I have about a month to finish up.

I need 4.10s, new wheels, new tires, coilovers, camber plates, steel braided brake lines, a new drivers side seat, and paint.

I will be giving out hj's for any of these parts. Stupid wedding is taking all my freaking money.
                      If in doubt... Flat out

I replaced the fluids in the diff and trans today. Also finished painting the roll cage and got the new harnesses installed.

Tomorrow sees me doing a little cosmetic stuff - rust repair in a couple spots. Also still need to do all the underhood stuff - change oil, flush brake fluid, check the condition of all the rubber bits. Last items after that are to chase down my speedo and window gremlins.

About a month to the first event.

I need to order a new cap, rotor, and plugs, and possibly a new hood release mechanism... Then I need to install that, as well as my ATE brake fluid, the braided SS lines, and rebuild the calipers at each corner... Kinda pumped my car's gonna like pretty much completely refreshed.

Just in time for me to seriously debate yanking the power plant in favor of something else.

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

biggest pain in the ass ever, hopefully you weren't stupid like me and just painted the cage the same color as the rest of the interior.
