Just joined this. Im looking for the best possible n/a 2.5L build for a race engine. Cant decide if i should go with the m50/tu or m52/tu, although im steering towards the m50 due to the OBDI being easier to work with? Looking for a sustainable high revving engine (anywhere above 7k is good though). I am planning to upgrade the engine as much as possible, so another factor for example is possible cams made for the engine. Will the VANOS affect the selection of cams? What is the wildest cam out there for a bmw 2.5L? Any advice is extremely welcome. Im hoping to put it in a completely custom built frame for a track toy. Thanks again.
