Im looking for some good performance driving schools in so cal. Itll be a gift from me to my btother for christmas.(he's coming back from iraq)
It has to be one where you can use your own car, and just a one day class. Anybody got any ideas?

Just go to a NASA event for one day. www.nasaproracing.com The HPDE level 1 has good instructors and it will be a good time.

I had a good time with NASA as well. It's a great organization.

How in depth are the instructions. Most people that go there already have a pretty good idea of what they need to do. My brother on the other hand sucks at driving BUT thinks he's great. So id like to get him so really good lessons. Ill check on the NASA site for more info.

Extremely NOT TRUE and a common misconception. Most people in the HPDE1 group are first timers.

True dat. I remember going to one of these NASA schools with my brother when he used to own an E30 out at Thunder Hill Raceway. Talk about rookie day.....there were a few spins and some too-close-for-comfort situations that looked like a wreck in the making. Luckily no one got that day.

Despite that one particular day, NASA is a good organization if you're just getting your feet wet in HPDEs.

Charlie got me interested in NASA HPDE's and I'm probably going to lose my virginity to them this summer instead of BMWCCA's.
