it sucks that I'm so out of practice, didn't really get that many clean runs. plus the setup was super tight, I hate it when you spend most of the time in 1st gear and the 4.0 ltl of my ix isn't that much fun either.

also ignore my 1-2 grind, sometimes a 275,000 mile tranny just doesn't like shifting. :p

I know, but with a 90 degree turn right after the light there's no point. maybe if I go up north this summer..

Yeah that course was way too tight. Last autox I went to was similar, it was painful watching cars try so hard.

I feel pretty good about being able to pull over 1g on cold R888s, blown konis and an understeering pig of a car. ;)

Sounds like the R888s give good audible feedback! I always hit the wipers myself when I have to get busy with the steering wheel. :razz:

part of that is having a non-airbag wheel with an airbag column and stalks. eventually I'll swap them out for non-airbag ones so I don't hit them..

I did that too, until I got the OMP wheel and the quick release which spaces it back. :D

I wasn't sure if it would be a problem, I haven't really autox'd since I changed the steering wheel setup. I've got the stalks sitting in the parts car, just have to spend 10 minutes changing them out.
