    i said it over on e30tech, i use a diamond back bike pump with a gauge to pump up my tires. ive done a pair of tires from 10 psi to 45 psi in about 15 minutes.

    and im serious too. i have other things to worry about spending money on, like stuff that breaks on the car.

      well, the question was specifically about track days - so if you're too broke to afford a decent pump (or air tank), how are you paying for track days + gas + consumables?

          I actually have a compressor w/air tank at home but it's a plug in and too much hassle to bring on track days. A small 12V compressor is an option but I rather not bother because they're not much faster than a hand pump although much easier to use - I'll give you that. For minor adjustments, I think the hand pump should be fine...although I may eat my words at the next event if it's 80+ degrees.
