white sidewalk chalk also works well (and comes off easy). I was told that you want a little bit of the chalk (1/2 or less) to wear off the side of the tread, any more than that is not enough air pressure.

Bring some shoe polish and use that to check how far your tires are rolling. If they roll too much, add pressure.
Also, if you understeer, increase front tire pressure or lower rear tire pressure. If you oversteer, increase rear tire pressure or decrease front. This seems completely opposite to what you would think, but it works.
Shoe polish works great, some tires like my azenis even have a little indented arrow on them that points to the line where your rub should stop.
I start the day with 40f and 38r. Start high and reduce as you go.
