this was back in march, placed 44 out of 144 overall. I pretty much had it floored the whole time (my car is slow). slap it in 1st gear and go... ;)

the sad thing is I was a lot faster than people in MUCH better cars...

Who did you find to film it? Looks like a ton of fun. We should have an auto-x e30 meet this summer. I can finally participate /w my fixed suspension. :P

somebody filmed the whole thing and was selling DVDs.. I bought one and ripped the part with me in it.

there's 6 scheduled autocrosses up in my area this summer. we should take over with E30s. :)

I was thinking.....isn't a 325ix a good candidate for STS as it has a vicious LSD and could use it unlike the 325is with its clutch pack. Even if its heavy, AWD would help pull it around....? :?:

awd doesn't really "pull" you around. I'd rather be able to rotate the car with the rear wheels anyway (thank god BMW decided on a 34/66 split). and it's not really that heavy.. but it's pretty underpowered. Like I said I was at full throttle much of the time, only used the brakes twice.. at least I wasn't understeering though. ;)
