    My first time drifting

Went to Thunderhill on Saturday for their skidpad event, it was my first time ever sliding the car, and my first time on any sort of closed course. Just my little M42 with a Mark D chip, ran a 3.73 welded.:D

Was a lot of fun, can't wait to go again. :)

It's a lot of fun, but riding fulltrack was just as awesome. Thunder Hill has the best elevation change ever.

Haha nice meeting you that day Ian, was fun being thrown around in there, hopefully I can take my e30 out to a skid pad and learn a thing or two once it's up and running again!

honestly i think its cause of all the fanboy wanna be drifters. Or lame ass kids who think street drifting is cool.

It really is disappointing because it truly is an awesome sport.

Oh a lighter note I think I heard something about another drift bible coming out ???

It's understandable for it to be looked down upon, you get a lot of idiots going to it, and then they end up trying it on the streets, and wrecking while putting other people in danger. (I know a few people who do that.)

Honestly? It's very underpowered in the dry, but in the wet, it was fine. If I kept it over 3 grand I could go across the entire skidpad sideways, and with the 3.73 it went to about 60 at 7K. It was very, very fun.

Great meeting you! Sorry about how harsh I was that run. :D Hope to see your car out there! It's a great lesson in car control, no doubt.

The applied driving behind it is awesome, but the people it draws are fucking retarded sometimes.

                      That.

I honestly watched it (the drift bible) and kept everything in mind. You can hear me being a retard in one of the videos and saying "Braking dorifto!"

Im sure youve heard of the Keep Drifting Fun stuff goin on, all about the fun aspect of Drifting [obviously] rather than competition.

It is unfortunate how many people look down on drifting, but then again with the American drifting the way it is..cant really blame em
