I talked to my local speed shop and they said 2000$ for it if the car is compleatly stripped out...if not...3000$

also i am :? about using a seat without a roll cage.... can i just use a roll bar?? I really hate my slippery leather seats...

Where are you located? There are two good fabricators in Virginia. RoadRace Technologies (roadracetech.com) in Chantily and Bimmerworld (bimmerworld.com) in Radford. Both do great cages. I know Bimmerworld custom cages start around $1800 if you do the interior stripping. They can also do roll bars if you want to continue to use the car regularly on the street.
