That was pretty cool. Speaking of 750's, I saw a white '90 750iL last night for sale, not a bit of rust or damage on it. They only want $5500 for it, I'd be all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake if I wasn't saving for a house.

Will Zaraska of http://www.willz.ca has one of those 750il with 420000km on the clock. He's had it since it had about 150000km on it. He tows his E30 M3 race car on the trailer with it and takes it to the track as well. I don't think it's that unrealiable as you guys say.

All cars break down from time to time.

After speaking with quite a few people who own V12 BMWs, in their experiance, the V12 is as reliable as any other BMW engine out there. There are a few more electrical problems due to twin ECUs, but for the most part, they have been paying the same as people with old V8s.

Breaking down often? No. That's just FUD (fear, uncertain, doubt).

When something major goes wrong, it is a lot more expensive, but as with any car, take care of the V12 and it'll do you right.
