    Still have mine, trouble-free (after total rebuild). I've always been impressed with the steering feel, and I don't think PS degrades communication at all--it just makes parking easier. It honestly feels like a manual rack above (like everyone says) a few mph. The pump, bracket and lines weigh maybe 6 lbs. Your call.

    What's your scrub radius?...

      for the belt size if you didnt find it already: get a piece or string and run it around all your pulleys like the belt would rout... subtract an inch or so for the tensioner. go to napa and give them the length, then they hand you the belt you need. make sure you get the right number of ribs (width). i did this, belt cost like $10 and has been working great for over a year.

        ^^I mentioned what belt to buy and referenced another thread with concrete info on page 2. No string required!

        Interesting. I only asked because when I 'plugged' my rack I had problems with pressure building up. I either needed to vent them or connect the two ports so that everything felt right.
