I'm thinking about a set of these. Any thoughts or experience for track use?

the advantage of pedal covers is you can make the gas pedal a bit wider for easier heel/toeComment

I see those parts more as cosmetical enhancement than anything else. They look good, but will do nothing for your track driving. Instead, remove the rubber pads from the clutch and brake pedals and stick some non-slid paper. Then learn how to heel and toe. If the gas pedal cover had a small extension, maybe it could help. But these are only covers. Just like putting a plastic cover with an Alcon tag on your Girling calipers. It won't improve anything but the looks... ;-)Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

yes, those particular pedals don't look any wider than the stock ones. the one I have on my gas pedal is about 1/2" wider on the left side. I could probably H/T in high heels. ;)Comment

They sure do look nice though I want a set.
