Not to mention I'm using the 95 M3 rack which is 3.0 LTL vs factory e30's 4.1 LTL. I track the crap out of this car and it only runs 225 street or dot-r tires. I have yet to come off the track complaining about sore arms ever... And that's driving between 2-3 hours on track per day. Also done autocross's without issues.

So what do you need to build a "real race car"?

I race it
Its not street legal
It has components on it that you would not want on a street car.
So what makes it not a racecar? I cannot seem to find the Fire pull on my street car, nor the transponder, portable fire, battery kill switch.
I guess that makes the original DTM BMW E30 M3's not real racecars?

Just wondering if I should go with an e36 rack while I have the engine out considering that I definitely won't be having power steering.:)
I hear a lot of people here saying no PS is great and steering effort is fine but not saying which steering rack they have.Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>
