Star Specs are without question extremely good, at my HPDE's 90% of the cars have Z1's and the other 10% have r-comps. No one ever complains about them. It can also be because there on the cheap side...compared to like RE-11's...I never seen anyone with rs3's yet or else I would have asked them how they were. The extra contact patch will make immense difference though. However, if Z1's came in 225/45...I think they would give the rs3's a challenge

Those don't look nearly as wide on the 15x7 as I thought they would. Though I suppose this doesn't show it with the weight of the car on it :)

From what I've seen, the star specs seem to have a pretty wide footprint in comparison to other brands of the same size actually. The R-S3s do look good tho...

          Dayum. Lets see them mounted!!!

I gotta get some nice track tires for my euroweaves too but I don't want them to look like rubber bands. Curious how the 45 profile will look.

They look exactly like 205/50's, I measured the diameter at 23"

All I can say is ;)

and my star specs were 235/45-17s, my RS-3s are 225/45-15s

Also, whoever said the Star Specs were cheaper, you're wrong.

Also, I can try to get a pic of the side profile of my wheels and tires and post em. I realy like the way they fit on an 8 inch wheel

                            same same.

Just in the last few years, i've made the switch from whatever I could find out of the discard pile, to good new rubber and I'll never go back! Good tires make such a big difference!
