Was the car previously a 4 banger (318is?) I had the same issue in regards to the pick up issue at Watkins Glen over the weekend. The tank need to be topped off above the 1/2 mark other wise it would cut out at turn 5 and turn 7...

Very nice! I just picked up some FX1 Pros myself. My car is almost finished, but I couldn't get it ready in time for the BMWCCA school at Putnam Park this year...next year!
Was that your first time out ever or just with the S50?Leave a comment:

Hawk ht10 pads,ATE fluid,ss lines..roebling road doesnt require allot of hard braking, just into turn one, but VIR and CMP will be the real test to stock brakesLeave a comment:

What pads, fluid and lines are you running?

Nothing really, removed the the tar like sound proofing from the rear.removed both stock seats and installed a corbeau fx1 pro seat for the track, that's about it..at first I was surprised, but that scale at roebling road is pretty dead on,I've weighed my other race cars on it and compared them with professional scale, and they are very close..next will be the carpet, rear seat,etc.. I plan on running NASA time trials, but I'm waiting to see what class with 2500 lbs/260hp I would run in. TTB/TTC. Not sure!Leave a comment:

First time to track with my e30 with s50 swap g240/3.73lsd. Had fuel pick up issues so had to run with full tank. Running spece30 suspension, and Toyo r888.My first time running an e30 at a track.. Need coil overs ( way to soft for my taste) and maybe massive brakes, although stock wasn't bad..car weighed 2575 with full tank, carpet and rear seat..tire temp were great across all tires.
Next VIR, stock brakes will be the true test..coil overs first !!
Thanks. DanTags: None
