Frame shop think it can be fixed - but its going to cost a big chunk. More of a chunk than putting a cage in a new chassis and swapping parts over. I have not yet decided what I will do yet.

        Watkins Glen November 1st, 2014

Cold as hell, wet, same race as the crashed e30 up above. Our car was dummied on Sunday morning in the dry and cold :(. You can see here how much I struggled to find the grip, definitely a long way to go. Ran 2:50.xx in the cold rain (with snow and fog to boot) and a 2:20.7x in the dry after we straightened the car out. Happy with that.

For reference, we got our car straightened out, it's waiting a few final down pulls to make the front bumper and trunk lid fixed but it's 90% back to shape.

You got some decent times down in the (cold) dry! Nice driving!! Glad to hear its body rehabilitation is going well. Dmitry showed me the pics, and man, that poor rear end! Almost up to the C pillar :(

You guys planning to do Mosport in April?

Planning yes. Hoping the car survives the Homestead 24hr race.

Was a pretty big bump :(. Car held up pretty good all things considered, it was the heel of the boot on the inside, it caught the tire wall which saved the front end up but dug in and swung it around fast.

Thanks, there is still some time left in it, only had 6 or 7 non-caution laps but I was pressing until it hurt, trying to see what the car could do. As I was coming down in times on my third flying lap the brake fluid overheated (DOT3, long story), and then it was time to pit in for the last driver. Actually passed the leader lol and kept getting the blue flag as I was putting distance on him.

Oh man, that's rough. Nice, smooth driving up until that, too. Seemed like he didn't even heel-toe :(

Thanks for the offer but they are actually from different sessions. I did the first 2 with the camera in the car and other two with the camera on the top of the windshield.

This is probably one of the most exciting races I've been part of, despite it only being 4 laps long. I'm the anchor leg of a 5-leg relay race, where each leg is run by a different race group. The time differential from the previous group rolls over to the next standing start, and by the anchor leg all four teams were only a few seconds apart! I started off second but you'll have to watch to see what happens!

                                hey brave....

not to open up a cana worms but....

fixed back seat w/o a RollBar is a chancy set up...i see u run oe belts so at least thats better than a harness and no rb.....but still........

its not the end of the world....but that seat wont collapse...and if the belts dont work as they should then your head/shoulders is your rb.

                                Mikey...

u were the better driver....he really never showed he could utilize his lightness and brakes..he never seemed to outbrake you.

That was snow right?......was it in the 40's?...brrrrr
