not to open up a cana worms but....

fixed back seat w/o a RollBar is a chancy set up...i see u run oe belts so at least thats better than a harness and no rb.....but still........

its not the end of the world....but that seat wont collapse...and if the belts dont work as they should then your head/shoulders is your rb.

u were the better driver....he really never showed he could utilize his lightness and brakes..he never seemed to outbrake you.

Thanks Joel, I was surprised to see he couldn't outbrake me as well. You can see from his numerous lockups that he was trying...go figure. He was definitely quicker in the back half of the track but luckily it's hard to pass there.

I'm confused what you mean regarding the seat and rollbar...this is what the car looks like:


Are you saying the rollbar isn't set up correctly? Or the seat should be different? We have a 5-point harness and a HANS mount on the bar behind the driver.

I went to Texas World Speedway for my first time this weekend. It will also be my last, since they're tearing the track down next month. Sucks.

Two day event: first was dry, second was pretty serious rain. I also had the most fun in the wettest session. It's the only video I have compiled so far. This was my 6th session on track, and my second in the wet. Absolute blast.

This past weekend was my second trip to (the currently in demolition-limbo) Texas World Speedway.

The weather was perfect and I learned a ton. I feel like I made light-years of progress in car feel and control at these speeds.

I ended the weekend with a 2:10 in my last session. A time I'm completely thrilled with. Quite a few in my group had left to head home, so it was a light session with very little traffic.
