Would be great to see more E30s at the track! Lots of fun and track time, and a pretty good value as well.

One of the things I like about it is that I get a chance to see different combinations at work and see who is running what parts, and compare notes with and get advice from other E30 owners. There are usually a few PRO3 cars and drivers to inspire me.It's a fun relaxed atmosphere with a bunch of other enthusiastic BMW owners.

I've made some big changes to my car since my last time out and I'm looking forward to seeing how that transfers to the track.

                Hi Kevin!
It's good to hear from you,how is the new shop?
So far,I've added an e36 rack, and new stock sway bar endlinks,,new to me rear bilstein shocks and this weekend we are ordering new tr1 motorsports wheels and Nitto nt01's.

The rack swap really changed the car and it also reduced the bumpsteer alot which was an unexpected bonus. The Nittos are a perk from the wifes boss, its nice to have that tire store hookup.

Still to do is some more weight reduction, mostly from the interior and swapping out the moonroof with the wifes e-car.

You are one of the main reasons we got into E30's in the first place,I vividly remember that ride in your black car and feeling completly comfortable as we slid sideways out of turn 8. fun fun fun!

My shop move got delayed until April 1st. It's coming soon enough though!

My E30 is an ETA, not really a track worthy car, though I wouldnt mind taking it out. Can I bring my rabbit?

I'll have to make it out there one of these days after you get settled in.

quick question about the car control clinic requirement. im a total newb to track days, but im planning on getting my racing license this year and am building a dedicated track car ('80 rabbit), but its not ready yet and i want to get some track time with the e30. i might be heading to bremerton motorsports park this saturday for their drivers day. would that allow me to get into the hpde? i would be signing up for the ridge track day.

She told me that the AROC event does not qualify. It still sounds like fun though, dress warm and bring trash bags to put your stuff in.
