What would be the best gear for autocross for a 87 eta? (not super eta or 2.7i or anything like that)... It's a dedicated car so I don't care about driving around town just the track. It current has a 2.93 lol

And in all honesty, no most people would never have a clue. And if your only doing local events I highly doubt anybody would care. Easiest way for anybody to tell would be to check the tag, but in theory you could just swap that too.

3.73 and chipped. A chip and the 2.93 is very fun also. Its a leave in 2nd, and concentrate on driving ratio. I never really got too much wheel spin with the open rear. I swapped to an LSD for RallyX traction.Last edited by Gary Horneck; 03-17-2012, 11:03 AM.sigpic
