    Seat Input Needed

I am finaly getting ready to pull the trigger on a dedicated race seat for my E30 but I have one issue. I dont fit. I lost 30lbs to fit in a race seat and now my waist and butt fit perfectly in everything all the way to a Suzuka but my shoulders are still far to wide. I sat in one cobra where my shoulders stuck out past the seat entirely. Does anyone have any recomendations for seats with wider shoulder areas.

I am thinking about running the MOMO Super Cup 2012 but I would need an Xl just for my shoulders and pads to fill in next to my hips.

    Any input is appreciated.

Sparco Evo series comes in various widths. Check out their site or head over to OGRacing.com or SafeRacer.com; both of them list out the widths of the seats.

I would expect some of the other manufacturers to also list the widths.

Worse comes to worse, Kirky seats are available without the shoulder wings. I don't like that style (mostly due to it uses your rib cage for UPR torso lateral support...), but it does take out the 'too tight in the shoulder area' issue.

I found the Ultrashield seats to be the best for me. I am having a full containment seat built, It's a 17 wide base with a 2 wider, and 2 taller shoulder area than thge standard. I'm 6'4' and 285, but not a couch potato, so they just custom make it. Talked to them Monday and they are about 4 weks out on custom seats.
I am a dealer for them, hit me up if you are interested.

I track my e30 as well..w/ Sparco Evo seats....I loooove them..and they come in varying widths..

that being said......!!!..always trial fit a seat first..go to a local track and just sit in every1's seat.....really!

Suzuka is a great seat...but shoulder area is narrow.

if u r a difficult fit which sounds like you could be....you should not buy a seat w/o sitting in it first....

what waist are you?.....and what suit size?......just curious....

          for a bigger seat....

          Racetech

          Sparco Ev0 2...or xl

Recaro profi/spg line, makes xl too......

all the brand names are nice seats it all comes down your fit and the style you like.....

if I was you.....post this on bf.c..in track section....!!!!!

...and the guys at UltraShield will build you one to fit, if you want.
I fit their stock 16" seat, and like it quite a bit.

BUT you have to like the aluminum bucket style seat, and not all do.

Probably as big as you can get in a good seat, otherwise custom.
