      my 318 trapped 80mph at 16.8. ;)

at 92mph you could be low 15s, if not 14s with a perfect run. what were your 60's?

Yea I was pure shit at launch, my best 60' was 2.6s... I went downhill from there. Definitely going to go back though it was tons of fun.

I have a question for experienced draggers with 5 speeds:

Do you actually start the tires spinning and left foot the brakes for the burnout?

I have tried doing it a couple times just dicking around but I feel like it must be absolute murder on the driveline, well that and my brake modulation with my left foot is non existent. What say you?

Also how about pre-staging using the handbrake is that accepted drag racing behaviour?

Actually I'm going to post this on BFc too.

I push the clutch in before it actually starts sticking. I don't do a full brake stand, street tires it would be useless. I just knock the water and debris off, nothing much more than that.

I don't waste my time using the handbrake... I mean, it is a flat track, right? haha Just focus on your launch and not your staging. Get a nice rollout and forget about RTs.

I know why I was spinning my tires so easily now... Did some snow driving, and I've definitely got a 1 wheel drive open Diff... That explains alot now. Going to be looking for an LSD now and try my hand at 1/4 mile again this summer!
