    Fire Supression

Posting this here because I think this forum will be most knowledgable. I'd like to keep a fire extinguisher in my e30 325i. I've seen some very nice brackets for under-seat mounting that people have fab'd but nothing for sale currently and most of the sites I've been to sell brackets for e36s. Can anyone point me to something that will fit under the passenger seat of my car?

    So far I've spotted:

This unit http://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac-...px?Thread=True for e36s, cheap but will it fit?
The OEM http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e30/int...inguisher.html setup but parts and extinguishers are hard to find.
This nice setup http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=152076 someone was making and selling in 2009.

    Thanks for any leads!

IIRC correctly the E36 seat mounting points are about 1 inch farther apart than an E30.

Thanks for that info, I won't waste my money on the e36 setup.

Update: Not finding any options for a DD, but lots of options for track cars with roll cages. Planning to take some metal shop classes at Tech Shop and make my own if I can't find something.

^^HA, that's what I was going to suggest Toby!

Course, there have been 3 separate occasions this season that I was glad I still had the handbrake on the racecar..

This, but now I have to build a mount for my Recaro Pole Positions.

That thing barely looks big enough to put out a bic lighter.
