What goes first Rear diff ?!

Hey guys want to build my rear diff was thinking to get a good center section and dss axles but how strong are the ring and pinion gears because I can't find a company that makes really strong gears please shed some light on this the car will be used for drag and I have 400hp now but planning to be around 650+ so I need something strong thanks

I could be wrong, but 600hp will probably break lots of stock parts and would seem to necessitate a change in the entire driveline. If you are just going to build it for drag just custom box the rear end and install whatever you want.

Rip out all of the rear suspension, diff, and drive shaft and imaginer a solid rear axle and one piece drive shaft. Then the failure will move to the transmission. An yes it has been done (lots of work and lots of money).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Don't even waste your time with the bmw stuff, the hp isn;t the biggest issue, it the fact that the suspension under an E30 was not designed for drag racing. I'm not saying that from a BMW enthusiast standpoint either. I'm building my first track car, but come from drag racing, save your money, learn to weld and build a solid axle conversion. Building a 9" is a drop in the bucket cost wise against making a bmw IRS hold that power.
