    Finally autox'd the E30

Owned the car for 3 yrs but I've been running AM and FM and swore I'd keep the E30 for a sunday back road burner.Sold the FM car due to an injury earlier in the yr so the itch needed to be scratched.
Yesterday was a normal event, which I didn't due well part due to the lack of events this yr and partly because the shifter decided it didn't want to remain attached during the runs.
For a good laugh watch an example.

Today was a pro solo, did better qualifying in 11th overall I think.1st round of eliminations I drew(out of a hat, informal kind of an event)local hot shoe fresh from a trophy at nats in his Z06.Beat him on time 1st round,I off coursed 2nd run and beat him on time final run.Put out a couple of miatas than met another region fast guy in a SSM Miata on 275 hoosiers-he easily put me out in 2.
    Here's the 2 good runs agaisn't the Z06,

Just ran mine this weekend. I got murdered in DS but had a good time and picked up a lot of time. Even with a blown strut it was very composed. Looking forward to more mods!

Nice work. The shift knob experience, I went through too many times. Luckily for you it went on the passenger side. I had it bouncing around under the pedals once for an entire run.

LOL, too much. Sucks to have runs ruined by something so dumb as the shift knob being unreliable.

Yeah I should've pulled the shift boot sooner and then duct taped the knob to the shaft like I did for today.Live and learn I guess.
