Anyone here actually using 949Racing 6ULs?

Just curious, I realize they need a BIG spacer, or bolt-on adapter/spacer, but was curious if anyone is using them.

I've been working with JongBloed Racing Wheels on a 15x9 ET 35 with tons of BBK clearance since the 6ULs seem to never be in stock anywhere.

Is this something that would interest anyone?

Those wheels are outstanding! I've never heard of them before. The 214-Aero has struck a cord. I have to imagine these aren't exactly cheap are they?

These will be a flow formed, wheel made of 6061 aluminum with a T6 heat treatment. So they should be stronger than a cast or low pressure cast wheel as well.

We are expecting them to be around $209 retail for the 15x9, there is also a possibility of a 15x8 ET 35 as well.

Once we work out the final few details, I'll post up the final weight and pics.

We will also be doing a Group Buy to get started and will offer free shipping for those who sign up for the Group Buy.

longtime fan of Jongbloed wheels, esp the 305 and 214 aero styles, are you talking about a one piece wheel from them ? What design is it?

Yes, a one-piece flow formed wheel.

Finalizing that now, but it will be very similar to their current 15x7 Spec E30/Miata wheel.

Obviously a rendering, but I have pics of the 15x7 I can post later.

If more E30 guys went to the track vs hard parking on steelies at Kroger's that could probably happen.

A friend uses 8 in. 949's on his track car. Early wheels were a little brittle. Broke a couple. Emile replaced whole set for nothing. Improved wheels seem to be holding up fine. I'm using kosei 8's over big brakes and like em although they ain't pretty. Would go for some affordable 15x 9's.

Damn. My favorite underrated wheel manufacturer. I really want a set of their 3 pieces.

I don't really get why spacers would matter. you should be using quality studs anyway.

I have gen1 wheels, haven't had any issues though.

15x8 ET35 would be nearly perfect for the ix.. :)

The 6ULs are great wheels, no doubt. I've literally spent $4k+ plus with Emilio over the last 15 months, however, I and many others hate that the 6ULs are never in stock.

Awwww. I don't think that style will look too good on an E30. Maybe if it were a bit more concave...

Looks a wheel that a scarf wearing miata owner would want.
