I love how you have done the glove box to keep it while having a cage. Think I will do the same thing.
Do you have the stock fuse box and wiring? Trying to figure out where to mount my relays and after market ecuLeave a comment:

Show us your switch panels and gauge clusters
So after spending an obscene amount of time struggling with pulling the stock fuse box and relocating / thinning it out. I eventually lost patience and have decided to go build my own one. Started with designing a switch panel to replace the hvac consol.
I have started towir it circuit by circuit, and must say I have found the standard BMW harness rather complicated and redundant (especially for my needs). Once I investigated the harness I found it much simpler to ditch the cluster and run after market gauges. So up designed my gauge cluster which I still need a Tach for.
So far it's a long process but taking my time, as it's the 1st time done real wiring.

From left to right, row by row
8 way fuse block, kill switch
Headlight switch, rear demister, hazard switch, manual boost controller
Spare, Engine elect fan, wipers, fuel pump, ecu power, engine start, ignition switch
I will be using the stock direction signaler, brake light switch and reverse light switch.
Just need to find a place to mount the relays and I can continue to wire the chassis.
Let's see what you guys have done??Tags: None
