As general info, the e30 disc hub is 65.90 while the bore in the hat shall measure no more than 0.1mm over, which is a play that you shall feel when moving the hat on the hub. Anything over 66.00mm can be considered excessive. I personally machine my hats at 65.95mm +0.03

I would consider having 0.45mm play (66.35mm bore) as being excessive.

BTW The Christmas holidays are sometimes the only free time some vendors will take in a year, so yes, they may be slow to reply if you email on the 25th of December :D

Oh, and in regard of the bolt holes, it seems that Bimmerworld had the "great" concept of using studs to center rotors. Basically, their 12mm studs have a 14.2mm knurl. Great, except that many hat manufacturers stick to a 14mm bolt hole. Therefore, you have to redrill the mounting holes on the hats with a 9/16" bit aka 14.29mm

Thanks MassiveLee for the insight. How would excessive bore in the hat feel while driving?

Just thought I would give you guys an update on this thread.

So I sent the hats back to UUC for warranty review and they ended up sending me a new set of rotor hats back. The new hat fits perfectly as an OEM BMW rotor would. All problems solved. If you guys have an early BBK and have had a front end vibration that you just cant seem to figure out, check out the rotor hats and their fitment.

Couldn't be happier with UUC and how they dealt with this issue. BBK is great and works perfectly, especially with new rotor hat.

Its funny that kamotors is still having majors issues with the kit after uuc tried to right the issue, Im glad you got it fixed but the kit should not have so many issues across the board for close to a grand.

That's a bummer, was wondering what happened after I didn't hear back from you.
