Interesting turbo setup, are you running an intercooler?
Seems to a budget friendly setup but well made.

Yes, the stock one from the 1992 Saab 900 turbo

Very cool setup, seems that its a setup that cost 1200< and works quite well.

We are preparing the car for the next PCA event at Watkins Glen Aug 17-18 and have very little time to write up an updated build thread yet.

For those who have not seen it, here is a video of it in action:

Many things have changed since that video; mostly safety related.

In the last event, his lap time improved to 2:32

Since we had the donor Saab for the turbo and intercooler, our total in the entire system including all turbo prep full custom stainless exhaust, etc., is about $800.00 to date.

How does the car feel comparing to when it was NA at the Glen?

WGI is my favorite track and I try to go at least once a year. I am seriously considering getting Jake's turbo kit for my M42 - 9PSI on his stock tune. My biggest concern is turbo lag at the track. Have you experienced any disadvantages comparing to being NA?

Interesting setup, must say. A cheap alternative for sure...hmmm, the gears are turning...

                  Really clean looking set up!
