    Jongbloed 15x10 On Track Car

Hey everyone. I just got my Jongbloed 15x10 et15 wheels from Phil's Tire Service, and I wanted to share a little information in hopes that it would help those of you interested in possibly running this setup.

First, the quality of the wheels is very good. They look nice and I haven't seen any imperfections on them anywhere. They also feel very light for how beefy they are (not just overall width, but the volume of material in the spokes, etc.). I haven't gotten them on the scale yet, but I will next week so I can update with actual weights of each wheel. I'm curious to see how consistent they are.

Fitment is, unfortunately, going to require a 25mm spacer up front, and at least a 15 in the rear (although I will be running a 20mm in the rear for some extra clearance and track width). Regardless of the requirement for spacer, they fit perfectly on the stock hubs, so a nice job on fitment there.

Here are some pictures of the front mocked up with DTM flares. I'll continue to update the thread once tires are on, spacers are on, exact weights, etc.

            Tires will be 275/35r15 Hoosiers.

I currently run SCCA SeDiv Time Trials in SU (street unlimited). I am considering adding the Global Time Attack series to my schedule next year, OR running with NASA in TT2 (need to add some ballast to stay out of TT1!).

Wow, what kind of motor/power are you making to be at the edge of TT2?

This was my first season running this car, and it currently has a 210 hp M50 in it and is 2580 lbs. This winter I have a plan to drop roughly 215 lbs, and have collected the parts to build my M50 and supercharge it. I'll be running low enough boost to retain reliability, and am expecting to settle at 325whp. This puts me in the middle of TT1. I will still lighten the car so that I can run SCCA Hillclimbs and be well prepped to take a shot at Pikes Peak in 2016 at the lower weight, and possibly running higher boost for Pikes. As soon as I start breaking the car down for the winter build I'll start a thread so people who are interested can follow along.

Scale says 16lb. 0 oz. for two of the wheels, and 15lb. 15 oz. for the other two.

Wheel weights as in, they each weigh exactly 16lbs.

I was referring to the difference in weights. But an ounce is irrelevant

Gotcha, I wasn't quite sure what you were asking. That ounce could be a difference in coating thickness. I weigh all four because I've had sets of inexpensive wheels on my scale that varied by up to 7 ounces. Scary.
